Brand Identity / Generative Design / Publication Design The California ScienCenter embraces zooming into the building blocks of science. Enhancing what was not known or seen before with new and exciting ways of experiencing scientific discoveries. This rebrand is targeted to reignite a passion for science with contemporary and modern design.
Logo Design
Nothing compares to representing the hands-on environment of CSC
better than a hand. The abstract approach uses the circular grid found on a human hand. To correlate the CSC exhibits, 11 lines were placed to represent each permanent exhibit. With selected sections, the logo marks represent expansion, sensory possibilities, and living qualities.

A custom publication was created maintaining the brand’s element of 5’s and expansive nature. Each page was edited to provide insightful information about CSC and provide helpful information such as a redrawn map, generative ticket QR code, and a Stamp Passport page.
